Transforming Testimonials: Three Ways to Repurpose Client Rave Reviews

A great time to request a client testimonial is after they have had a great experience with your service. For tips on how to ask for a testimonial, click here.

Once you have received the client’s feedback, and thanked them, it’s time to put it to work attracting potential clients who don’t yet know how you can help them. Here are a few ways to use and repurpose your client’s rave reviews:

Publish the full review on your website, social media, newsletter and when relevant on a sales page.

Pull out short, impactful quotes. Sprinkle them throughout your website, social media, newsletter and also sales pages if relevant.

Now do the opposite, EXPAND upon the testimonial by presenting it as a client story. Write a brief description of what you did followed by what the client said. Publish it on your website and consider using it in presentations/speaking engagements.

Administrative tip: Save all of the reviews received in one place. Many of us receive testimonials on various platforms such as LinkedIn, Google My Business, feedback forms or by email. As soon as the review is received, copy and paste it into a document, along with the date it was submitted. Save the document where you and any team members, like a VA, can easily access it.

Speaking of a VA, keeping track of testimonials and publishing them in all the right places, is a great task to add to a VAs to do list to ensure your ideal clients know how awesome you are.
