My Secret Weapon For Never Forgetting A Password Again

It is all about security these days isn’t it? With so much of our lives running online, the need for strong usernames and passwords has outgrown our capacity to remember all of them. As you know, it is not a good idea to use the same passwords for everything and the more letters, numbers and symbols we use, the better. This makes it even more challenging to remember them without some assistance.

Thankfully password managers relieve the struggle. Password managers safely store usernames and passwords so we can access them when we need them. The top rated password managers for 2021 according to PC Magazine are:

  • Keeper Password Manager & Digital Vault
  • LastPass
  • Dashlane

There is an annual fee to use them, but it is well worth it.

I use LastPass and these are the features I like best:

  • Autofill – LastPass autofills username and password when log-in credentials are required. If you have to log into different accounts in the same site, LastPass allows you select which account you want and fills that profile’s credentials. Efficient.
  • Sharing – Securely share log-ins with trusted advisors such as a Bookkeeper, Website Designer or Virtual Assistant. LastPass, for instance allows you to share the credentials without revealing what they are and prevents anyone but the Owner from changing them. Seamless.
  • Organization – You have the ability to assign categories and create folders for all log-ins so you may easily find them and/or share them. Smart.
  • Multiple devices – When you are on the go, your password manager comes with you, covering more than just one device ensuring access everywhere. User-friendly.
  • Simplicity – Of course, you will need a password for your password manager. If you utilize this resource correctly you will only ever have to remember one password ever again. It is a good idea to keep it in a safe place and share it with someone you trust in case of an emergency. Stress-free.

As a busy business owner, simple tools that solve big problems are a no-brainer to use. If you haven’t invested in a password manager yet, I promise it is worth both the time and money to do so.

What I Can’t Stop Talking About

AirPods

Apple Air Pods

My Air Pods are the gift I did not know I wanted. Game. Changer. The ability to move around freely while listening to music, podcasts, Zoom meetings, Clubhouse hangouts or talking hands-free on the phone is just something I didn’t know I needed. They have become an item I cannot live without. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend.
